Pachuca erases three-goal deficit to stun Toluca

02/06/2012 - Toluca, Mexico (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Mauro Cejas converted a penalty kick in the 90th minute as Pachuca rallied from three goals behind to stun Toluca, 4-3, on Sunday in Mexico's Clausura.

Toluca built a three-goal lead after 17 minutes on an own goal and goals from Ivan Alonso and Nestor Calderon, but Cejas scored the first of his two goals in the 36th to spark the incredible rally.

Daniel Arreola pulled a second goal back before halftime, and Marco Bueno tied the match in the 64th minute to set up the last-minute winner from Cejas.

Cejas completed his brace and the comeback from the spot as he converted from 12 yards after Bueno was hauled down by Alfredo Talavera in the area.

Pachuca remains undefeated through five matches with two wins and three ties, while Toluca lost its second straight after opening with two wins and a draw.

Also Sunday, Luis Garcia answered an early goal from Tijuana's Duvier Riasocs as Puebla earned a 1-1 draw at home, while Tigres claimed its third win in five matches by topping America, 1-0, on a goal from Hector Mancilla.

On Saturday, Rodolfo Salinas scored the game-winner in the 65th minute to help Santos post its fourth consecutive win, 2-1 over UNAM, to stay atop the table.

In Saturday's other games, Osvaldo Martinez scored his second goal in the 90th minute as Atlante edged Queretaro 3-2, Miguel Sabah scored twice in the second half as Morelia edged Guadalajara 2-1, Monterrey downed San Luis 3-0, and Cruz Azul beat Jaguares 2-0.

U.A.G. and Atlas tied 0-0 on Friday to kick off the week's matches.
